Many customers experienced difficulties with installing special msimg32.dll products. These products are listed under the separate ‘msimg32.dll’ category and there is a red warning notification text on the product description page too about the special terms.
Special dll products will only work for the listed mt4 build. If the product description page says the special dll product is for mt4 build 1355 then it will NOT work on mt4 build 1353 whatever you do. Always check and confirm you purchase the correct file for your mt4 version. Also, unfortunately if your mt4 platform gets updated in the future to eg build 1358 then the product will stop working. Please only purchase special dll products if you are ok with this.
The special ‘msimg32.dll’ goes into your mt4 root folder (and not in your libraries folder). If you don’t know where is your mt4 root, please don’t purchase special dll products. While you will get some basic instructions with it, if you are not familiar with the mt4 root folder you might get confused and there is no support with these products. Please only purchase if you are familiar with your mt4 root folder.
Some antivirus may block the msimg32.dll file and flag it as a virus. You need to whitelist it with Windows Defender and your antivirus.Its a false alarm and its SAFE , this false alarm is triggered because this is a custom DLL and not verified to any publisher but need to make this product unlocked. Please only purchase if you are ok with this.
The ‘fix’ folder also goes to the mt4 root. If there is a ‘fix’ folder in the downloaded product, please put the fix folder (not just the content file) to your mt4 root folder, next to the msimg32.dll. Not all software come with a fix folder but when they do you need to install it too. Please only purchase if you are familiar with your mt4 root folder.
Sometimes special dll products won’t work and there is no explanation for this. These products can easily conflict with other files and sometimes whatever the customer does it won’t load to the chart. If this happens, do not panic, just let me know and you get full store credit for your order.
